The local currency is the Real (BRL). As mentioned, there are no banks, ATMs or currency exchange offices on the island. It is therefore recommended to bring cash from the continent. We accept dollars, euros and the main credit card brands, the same goes for most commercial establishments in the region.

The humid tropical climate prevails in Ilha Grande, especially during the rainy season, between November and March. The maximum temperatures can reach 40° C during summer and the minimum, around 12° C in winter.

We have the fastest internet service available in Ilha Grande, with wifi service available in our common area and also in the rooms. However, the signal comes from the continent via radio, and may fluctuate depending on weather conditions. Unfortunately, it is something that the whole island is subjected to.

We are located about 40 meters from the beach, on a hill, also with stairs and ramps inside the pousada. Therefore, it is worth considering the physical conditions of each guest. We accept children from 4 years old (considered as normal extra guests in terms of rate), and we believe that the ideal is from 10 years old, due to the topographic characteristics and even the profile of most of our guests (adults and couples). As we are a small inn, we accept groups of up to 8 people maximum.
